Spring Shoes - Auckland Style

In Auckland shoes for spring can be tricky  - its not warm enough for sandals but too warm for knee high boots, and we have to be prepared for the next rain shower. What are the alternatives?

Brogues or Oxfords

Brogues have been around for a while but for a spring casual look they are perfect. I find some brogues to be a bit heavy soled but this these black pairs are a great alternative to the traditional men's style. I love the addington brogue with stud detail from MiPiaci - they are a knockout. Wear with a slim pant, tucked up skinny jean, baggy pants or skirts. Most important thing to remember when wearing brogues is to show your ankles to make them more feminine looking!

Booties

They are always great to have in the wardrobe - especially for Autumn and Spring. My absolute favourite booties are the cut out zip from the Senso website  They are amazing on. They had sold out across Australia this winter and have just restocked. The totti ankle boot from CR is also fab as it has a great heel and can be worn tucked down for a more casual look also comes in a tan suede - I know this product is already low is stock so be quick if you like them, they will also be great for next autumn! Great with skinny jeans, leggings and baggy boyfriend jeans, loose T-shirt/top and a fitted Jacket.
