In this section is a focus on boutiques in Auckland as we don't always get a chance to have a look due to busy schedules..
This weeks boutique focus is the The W Room, 66 Benson Road, Remuera, Auckland NZ
It is like you have been transported funky glam LA boutique when you walk into the W room, with a great array of summer colour. They have American brands that are just a bit different from what you normally see in Auckland - a great range of summer dresses, tops, cream lace tunics, LA idol jeans (with great diamonte detailing in the jean pockets, very like true religion jeans) and fantastic Versace styled items. There is only ever a very limited amount of each item shipped from California so you are guaranteed to have something not everyone else has. They also stock great items for little girls and teenagers.
I was like a kid in a candy store so much colour! Here are some of my best picks from the W room and I have given suggestions about what you could match them with new season pieces from the high street shops.

These great Fluro accessories would be fun Christmas gift for younger fashionistas.
Coloured Jeans are very in at the moment - but some of them are very low waisted. These high waisted colour jeans are great to keep tums in place so you can avoid the dreaded muffin top. Classic Evening
Every woman needs a classic cigarette pant $169 in the wardrobe. I love these sateen black skinny pants are fabulous from the W Room. Perfect for wearing in the evening paired with this gorgeous Scarlett Metallic Foiled Lace Top from Forever New $60 and ankle strap heel also from Forever New $99.99.

Classic Summer Looks
Such as this boho chic cream crochet top $196.80 - wear with a cream tank underneath and pair with dark blue loose denim shorts from Country Road $89 and great Niki tan wedges also from Country Road $149. Put together for a classic relaxed summer look.
Loving this Skull and Cross top $79 for a bit of a rock chic look, you see alot of these around but this is has unusual detailing - with crochet detailing on the back, and studs on the front. This would look great with cream or black skinny jeans, cropped light blue denim jacket and ankle boots.
Resort Wear - Beach
As for resort cover ups that are just a bit different. What about these from a brand called - What Women Want (also stocked in Smith & Caughey's). They have that glam resort feel in easy to wear fabrics.
Here are my picks for looking glam at the resort pool - Aqua Open sleeve dress with Jewellery detail $265. This would look gorgeous over your swimsuit or bikini at the pool, but the beauty about these dresses is that you can even dress this up for evening with a gold heel and accessories.
What about this beautiful long silk feel kimono coverall $359.....
The there is this retro rainbow style cover up with heavy beaded neckline detail, which would look amazing over a bikini $289, You could also wear over white linen pants for a resort look.
Statement Leggings
These Versace style leggings $99 are a great example of statement leggings which all the celebs are wearing, wear with a long black silk shirt belted with a black & gold waist belt and statement necklace, wear with heels for evening or black ballet flats for day.

I love this blue jacket - perfect for spring weather. It would be can be a wardrobe keeper due to its classic shape and structure. Wear with blue skinny jeans, black/white linen pants or even shorts over summer.
The polka dot blouse has a great zip details, so it can be worn as a sportlux jacket as well - wear with white T-shirt , red or white jeans and white canvas shoes for a relaxed summer look.
